Why choose silicone???

Silicone is a durable material, comprising mostly silica (found in sand and quartz), which is a readily available and environmentally friendly resource and makes it a much more desirable material to make our beach toys from. It can be manipulated and will bounce straight back to the original shape, which is great for packing up and safe in little hands. Silicone is a better choice for the environment: it is longer lasting than plastic (which we encourage our clients to be aware of when purchasing) and this product should be a one time purchase instead of buying plastic alternatives year in year out. When plastic is finished with and burnt down, it releases toxins that is extremely damaging to our environment. Silicone on the other hand, when melted down, reverts back into its harmless ingredients and can be transformed into another product.
